Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss, born in Decatur, Illinois on 23 July 1971, is a well-known and well-off Country Singer. She and LeAnn Kymes were two of the earliest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. Alison Maria Krauss began her music career early, winning local competitions at the age of 10. She recorded for the first recording at the age 14. When she was 14, she debuted her first solo album, after joining Rounder Records. She was invited to join the group with which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as releasing her debut album as a group in 1989.
