Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's most outstanding athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held in Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s first female gymnast to be awarded four gold medals. She also won the world title for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles lived within Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her younger sister Adria had been adopted by grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles won a gold in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of competition in 2011. Within two years, she won the event. What stood Biles apart was her consistency her fun-loving personality, and the high degree of effort she put into her workout routines for every event - vault, uneven bars balance beam and floor exercise.
